With new security, privacy and integration tools with artificial intelligence (AI), Samsung Electronics presented this Wednesday its new series of Galaxy S26 cell phones.
Composed of the S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra models, the series is designed to simplify everyday tasks, thanks to more proactive AI, personalized and adaptable, capable of anticipating user needs, automating processes and giving suggestions in real time, the South Korean company reported during an event broadcast live from San Francisco, California.
“We believe AI should be something people can rely on every day, designed to work consistently for everyone and without the need for specialist knowledge.“, said TM Roh, president and director of the Device Experience (DX) division of Samsung Electronics, in a statement.
“With the Galaxy S26 series, we focused on making AI feel effortless by designing it to complete tasks naturally, working silently in the background so people can focus on what really matters.”
Here we summarize some of the specifications of the S26 and the innovations in its Galaxy AI system:
- Galaxy S26 Ultra It incorporates – for the first time – a privacy screen, with protection at the pixel level that prevents other people from viewing it from the sides, without degrading the quality for the user. To date, this lateral privacy was achieved by applying a screen protector designed for that purpose.
- It has a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen.
- It will be available with 12 GB and 256 GB memory and storage; 12 GB and 512 GB or 16 GB and 1 tera.
- The Ultra model has four rear lenses of 200 megapixels (MP) and 50 MP Ultra Wide; as well as 10 MB and 50 MB for telephoto. The front camera is 12 MP.

- As a multi-agent platform, Galaxy AI already allows you to switch between AI agents such as Samsung’s native Bixby, Google’s Gemini and Perplexity. Agents can be activated with the touch of a programmed button or by voice commands.
- In security and privacy, the call filter is made with AI, privacy alerts, a private photo and video album and up to seven years of security updates are incorporated with the support of the Samsung Knox tool.

During the Unpacked 2026 event, Samsung also presented the new generation of its wireless headphones, Galaxy Buds4 and the Pro model.
