It all started in 2009. That year urban initiatives opened a new neighborhood in Zaragoza, Arcosur. The City Council proposed that it be the neighbors themselves who chose the name of the streets and in the first vote two proposals were made with the majority of the votes: Spanish monuments and video games. This was the semifinal. The final, between the two possible, gave the winner to the video games.
There were only two premises that the neighbors had to comply: the names of the franchises should be in Spanish and should not be violent games (although we will see that there is an exception). From that moment on, video games began to occupy the streets and avenues. Classics, like Super Mario Bros, the Zelda or Tetris legend, They sneaked into the street.
