Google usually makes its mobile line more attractive Pixel with exclusive features that, over time, end up transferring to the majority of users of Android. Now the company has announced that more than a dozen AI tools for image editing They make the jump to all Android and iOS phones starting next May 15. Among them, the Magic Eraser that Google launched with the Pixel 6 and the Magic Editor who accompanied the Pixel 8but with small print in the latter case.
The Pixel 8 Magic Editor is a tool that uses artificial intelligence to add, remove and modify all types of elements in an image. It will no longer be limited to Pixels or Google One subscribers, which will be the other way to access it, but will only accommodate a certain number of uses each month, 10. If you really want to take advantage of it, you will need to subscribe to Google One or get a Pixel. It is what is known as the Freemium model or, to understand us, “free, but only a little”.
Currently, the Magic Editor is available only for Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 users. It is not yet included among the features of Google One, but hopefully it will be incorporated when Google releases this and other Photos tools next month. Another dozen Google Photos tools, until now only available on Pixels and/or through Google One payment plans, will also reach the rest of Android users at no cost and without the limitations of use such as those of the Magic Editor. They are the following:

- Suggestions from heaven.
- Pop color.
- HDR effect for photos and videos.
- Cinematic photos.
- Styles.
- Video effects.
To use these features in Google Photos, both Android like in iOSit will be necessary for the device to meet certain minimum requirements: a terminal with at least 4 GB of RAM and has Android 8 or iOS 15 as the operating system.
