Google is close to taking its Gemini assistant to iPhone phones as part of an agreement that hopes to close soon with Apple, as can be seen from the antimonopoly trial that the technological giant faces in the United States with its search engine.
The Executive Director of Google, Slándar Pichai, has appeared this Wednesday at the trial for the Google monopoly with his search engine, where he has confirmed that he has negotiated with Apple the integration of Gemini in Apple Intelligence, as they collect in The Verge. Specifically, Pichai explained that they hope to close the agreement with Apple in the middle of the year so that Gemini is available in iPhone in late.
The idea is that Siri can access Gemini to offer more complex responses, as already done with OpenAi chatpt. Pichai has also commented that he has met with the Executive Director of Apple, Tim Cook, to address the issue of artificial intelligence development. Following these conversations, he assures that Apple intends to incorporate more third -party models into its intelligent system.
