Koei Tecmo and Gust have revealed new details of their upcoming JRPG, ‘Atelier Yumia: The alchemist of memories and the imagined land‘, which promises to take us to a world full of mysteries, alchemy and lost secrets. The title lwill arrive on March 21, 2025 to Switch, PlayStation, Windows PC through Steam and, for the first time, to the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. With voices in Japanese and texts in English, French, German and Spanish, ‘Atelier Yumia’, promises new game and exploration mechanics, but maintaining the essence of the saga.
Yumia Liessfeldt
In this new installment we follow Yumia Liessfeldt, a young alchemist whose mission is Discover the secrets behind the cataclysm that destroyed the continent of Aladiss. On his journey, he will face a series of strange antagonists with mysterious connections to alchemy, such as the scheming Black-cloaked Noble and a Monocular Werewolf. These characters will test Yumia’s abilities and the morality of her devastated world.

Synthesis system
As is tradition in the saga, the alchemy system returns in ‘Atelier Yumia’, but with a significant renovation. Players must master the new ‘Resonance Synthesis’, a system that requires careful selection of ingredients that resonate with each other. The quality of the ingredients will directly influence the strength of the resonance, allowing you to create more powerful items for battles and exploration. This mechanic aims to add a deep strategic layer to the synthesis process, which will test our skill and creativity.
combat system
The combat system has also been redesigned to offer fights in real timewith an intuitive and strategic approach. You will be able to move characters and switch between them at any time, allowing you to quickly adapt to the situation in combat. Furthermore, when certain conditions are met, characters can unleash powerful combos “Allied Action” and activate “Mana Surge”, a special ability that opens up new tactical possibilities in each confrontation.
Exploration and customization
Exploring the vast open world of Aladiss will be one of the main attractions of the game. Throughout her adventure, Yumia You can build and customize your own workshopchoosing between materials and styles to improve your “comfort level”. This not only influences the aesthetics of the workshop, but also Unlocks useful bonuses for Yumia and her companions’ abilities. Additionally, you can set up camps during exploration with a system that offers the opportunity to rest, cook, and enjoy exclusive events between characters that delve into the team’s history and relationships.
