An hour and twenty after the reading of the sentence began, it was learned that Daniel Sancho has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the premeditated murder of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta. He has also been convicted of the other crimes of which he was accused: concealing the body and concealing foreign documents (the victim’s passport).
In addition, he was ordered to pay compensation of 119,000 dollars, approximately 105,000 euros, to the family of the Colombian surgeon.
The young chef from Madrid killed his partner and used his knowledge as a cook to cut up the body and dispose of the parts in various places. That frenetic night was the beginning of a nightmare.
