During the broadcast of the last “Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase“Another massive fighting game collection has been announced, scheduled for release under the title ‘Capcom Fighting Collection 2‘ which will be released on Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC Steam format throughout 2025. The volume combines in a single set classics such as ‘Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001‘, with highly sought-after fighting titles such as ‘Project Justice‘, ‘Power Stone 2‘, either ‘Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro‘, which promise a generous amount of new features, such as online game modes, as well as quality of life updates across all eight titles.

The next installment of the format offers a new collection of fighting games and classics that come to current platforms for the first time, including: ‘Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro‘, ‘Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001‘, ‘Capcom Fighting Evolution‘, ‘Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER‘, ‘Project Justice‘, ‘Power Stone‘, ‘Power Stone 2‘ and ‘Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein‘. The volume nicely complements the contents of the first ‘Fighting Collection’, which arrived in 2022 collecting several versions of ‘Street Fighter II’ and different installments of the ‘Darkstalkers’ series.

As we anticipated, you will be able to take the measure of your online friends in the Eight titles with the predictive rollback netcode systemwhich promises a solid and stable online experience. Mid-game saves have also been added and a training mode has been enabled in all titles with various customizable options. The format will also allow you to fine-tune specific features of your gameplay experience, through specialized EX settings for each title, various screen filters, button customization, and more.
In addition to the ability to customize various game balance settings and implement quality of life improvements to the eight classics, the volume also plans to enable a space as a museumwhere we can explore their art and music galleries with official art, concept art, design documents and unpublished content.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection
It has also been revealed that ‘Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics‘, which includes games such as ‘X-Men vs. Street Fighter’, ‘Marvel vs. Capcom: New Age of Heroes’, and ‘Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter’ with the hidden character Norimaro (Japanese ROM only), will be released in digital format September 12th (Switch, PlayStation 4 and in PC Steam format), as well as in physical format on Friday, November 22 (PlayStation 4).
