A Dana with storms and temperature drop arrives

It starts a week of changes after a fully summery weekend in much of Spain. Before the forecast of high temperatures and storms, AEMET has activated eight communities alerts. Temperatures will be especially high in the Cordoba countryside, the Genil Basin (Granada), in areas of the province of Jaén such as Morena and County, Cazorla, Segura Zone or Valle del Guadalquivir. The maximums will reach up to 40ªC. It will also be hot, up to 39 degrees, in the Tajo Valley (Toledo) and points of Ciudad Real such as the Guadiana Valley and the Sierras de Alcudia and Madrona.

The thermometers will mark 38 degrees in other areas of that province such as in La Mancha and the North and Width Montes and also in La Mancha Albacete and Toledo. These levels will also be reached in large areas of Extremadura. In Madrid there will be up to 37 degrees in the southern zone, Vegas and west of the community.

These storms will occur with greater probability in the central north zone. Temperatures will fall in almost the entire peninsula except in the north end and in the Mediterranean area. When the heat comes back
