Pentagonía and the planet (and II)

We ended up last week with the threat of Fraga, Minister of the Interior, to confiscate my novel history of Elio, if it was awarded with the planet 1976. Difficult situation, but that the planet managers already had resolved: I was proposed to immediately close a contract to take the rights of my novel history of Elio, and subsequently publish it to the award grant. That agreement was made with the payment of a million pesetas.

If I quote the figure it is because if the planet prize was then four million, and the finalist received 800,000. That is, a figure that, of He-Cho, placed me as a second true winner: a data for all subsequent history. The book was effectively published, several editions were made, and there was a special of the Circle of Readers.

I have scored all of the above because in 2024 I appeared again to the Planeta Award, with the book that has been mentioned by Pentagonía. Final act (Seneca editions). In the idea of being a novel of our time, with a whole ilation of more or less scientific and historical conversations, with many illustrations and dialogues: a groundbreaking novel, but this time I had no prize. Sorry for all, because of this new book of mine, very good things have been said:

We would like this Pentagonia. Final act (Seneca editions) is not the last literary adventure of Prof. Tamames … and we would like his creative fervor to last in aeternum, and not only because of the period of the 103 years of life that his doctor, the last living disciple of Dr. Gregorio Marañón … literary molds and whose text we end up devouring. (From Juan Manuel de Prada’s prologue to my new book).

Lean, and I would like to know your opinion (cascoien@bitmailer.net). Thank you so much.
