Samsung plans to present the Galaxy S25 family of mobile phones at the event Galaxy Unpacked that will take place next Wednesday January 22. However, the leaks threaten to ruin the company’s surprises; or at least, some of them. The latest ones show Samsung promotional material starring the Galaxy S25 Ultrathe top of the range of the S25, as well as the design of the rumored S25 Slim.
We start with the S25 Slim. This is the same idea that is rumored Apple will be put into practice this year with the iPhone 17 Air: a premium smartphone whose main differentiating value is being very light and thin. In the case of Samsung, and according to information from OnLeaks and Smartprix that have published rendered images of the device, it will have a thickness of 6.4mmmaking it 1.2 mm thinner than the S24 from now a year ago. Compared to the soon-to-be-announced S25 Ultra, which is expected to be 8.2mm thick, it will be almost 2mm thinner.

According to both media, the S25 Slim will include a main camera of 200MPan ultra-wide-angle camera 50MP and a telephoto lens 50MP with optical zoom 3.5x. The SoC will be a Snapdragon 8 Elite accompanied by 12 GB of RAMand its launch should take place in May. If this date is true, it is unlikely that it will be seen at Galaxy Unpacked next Wednesday, still 4 months after its launch.
What there is no doubt about is Galaxy S25 Ultraof which some promotional images, in Portuguese, and published by leaker Evan Blass and Tecnoblog, confirm the change in the design of Samsung’s most powerful S25, now with rounded corners instead of straight ones. It also has a metal frame, similar to the iPhone and Pixel most recent. The rear camera set shows the same design as the previous generation.
Regarding its specifications, according to Android Headlines, all S25s will have the processor Snapdragon 8 Elitealready mentioned in the S25 Slim, along with 12GB RAM and they will use a screen Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 120 Hz refresh rate what will be of 6.2 inches on the S25, 6.7 on the S25+ and 6.9 on the S25 Ultra.
The battery also varies in capacity depending on the model, from the 4,000 mAh in the base model at 5,000 from the Ultra, passing through the 4,900 of the + model.
The rear camera set will be the same on the S25 and S25+: 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultra wide angle, 12 MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom. In the S25 Ultra, more even with the Slimthere will be a 200-megapixel main camera, 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens with OIS and 5x optical zoom, as well as a 10-megapixel telephoto unit with OIS and 3x optical zoom.
According to the media, the S25 will weigh 162 grams and will have a thickness of 7.2mm; the S25+, 190g and 7.3mm; and the S25 Ultra, 218g and 8.2mm.
