This is Model Pi, the Tesla smartphone that not even Elon Musk knows

For years there has been talk of Elon Musk’s intention to break into the smartphone market, something that would be logical taking into account his link with Starlink and all the technology available in his companies. But The reality is that there is still a long way to go until that moment arrives.. And yet a website, under the name moviltesla, gives all its characteristics. The page not only carries the name of Musk’s company, it also reproduces its logo next to the URL, the question is: is it a legitimate option?

According to the specifications of the website, The Model Pi would include technical features such as connectivity with Mars (one of Musk’s projects) and a photochromic casing design that would allow the smartphone to change color depending on the outside light.

To this we must add a solar charge through the screenwhich would allow it to be independent of the use of batteries and compatibility with Neuralink, basically brain-machine interfaces, to control it with thought. Obviously it would have a satellite connection thanks to Starlink and would facilitate the control of Tesla vehicles.

But the reality is that, until we start opening windows on this supposed official website, certain clarifications do not appear, such as: It is not a Tesla affiliated websitethat everything starts from a project by a designer (Antonio de La Rosa) and that the website aims to take you to Amazon to suggest mobiles “similar” to the Model Pi. Come on, a sales strategy.

The reality is that Musk’s smartphone is still a long way from reaching the market and most of the features imagined by de La Rosa, are the fruit of his imagination and, currently, very expensive and complex to carry out.

Solar charging, for example, It would not be very effective considering the loading surface. The same happens with photochromism that would allow you to change the color of the device, the Martian connection or with your brain. The only thing that would be logical and “simple” would be its connectivity with Tesla vehicles.
