Nintendo has officially announced that ‘Xenoblade Chronicles‘, the acclaimed action RPG originally released for Wii U in 2015, will arrive on Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2025. With a visual renovation, new plots and expanded content, this edition promises to transport us again to a vast and enigmatic alien world, where the survival of humanity depends on each of your decisions.
A science-fiction adventure with personality
In the year 2054, after the devastation of the Earth caused by a conflict between two advanced alien racesthe last human survivors search for a new home. Assuming the role of one of these survivors in the colony of New Los Angeles (NLA), you must contribute to the construction of a future on the inhospitable and fascinating planet Mira. This open world, made up of five enormous continents full of creatures of colossal dimensions and surreal landscapes, will be the backdrop of the fight for the destiny of humanity.

Mira is an immense alien world in which you will find wide oceans, extensive grasslands, mountain ranges, jungles and many other places, each with its own secrets to unravel and threats to face. During your travels, you will move freely across the surface of the planet and will be able to explore areas with ecosystems teeming with life where you will face colossal unknown beasts to obtain resources.
‘Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition’ places the main character at the core of a self-contained story seasoned for the occasion with new customization optionsboth to adapt the appearance and abilities of our avatar. By proving your worth as a member of the BLADE organization, you will be able to access the Skells, imposing transformable robotic exoskeletons that allow you to travel around Mira at high speed and face enemies of enormous dimensions, impossible to defeat on foot.
