According to the latest update from eltiempo.es, Spain will generally have a stable day with clear skies, although some areas could see eclipse visibility limited due to the presence of clouds.
The forecast, still with a high degree of uncertainty as there are several days left before the event, indicates that most of the country will have favorable conditions to observe the eclipse. However, they could appear low clouds in the Cantabrian Sea and evolving cloudiness in the east of the peninsulawith the possibility even of some showers and storms.
Where will the eclipse be best seen?
According to the meteorological models analyzed by eltiempo.es, the best conditions are expected in the west, south and interior of Galicia, Castilla y León, south of La Rioja and Navarra, Madrid and north of Castilla-La Manchain addition to Balearicswhere the eclipse could be observed in its entirety and with hardly any cloud cover.
In the coastal areas of Catalonia, Valencian Community and Murcia High clouds will predominate, which will not prevent the phenomenon from being seen clearly.

Canary Islands: partial eclipse with possible clouds in the north
In the Canary Islands, the eclipse will be partial, with an occultation of the Sun of around 77%. The islands with greater relief could register low clouds in their northern areas during the afternoon, while Lanzarote and Fuerteventura present a more favorable forecast, with slightly cloudy skies.
Hot day during the eclipse
The eltiempo.es forecast also points to a day of high temperatures. During the time of the eclipse, thermometers could be between 20 and 25 degrees in Galicia and the Cantabrian Sea, while in areas of the interior of the peninsula they could reach values of 35 to 40 degrees. In the Mediterranean and the Balearic Islands, more moderate temperatures are expected, between 28 and 32 degrees, and in the Canary Islands they would be around 25-28 degrees.
