The last week of October comes with interesting releases and as usual, it’s time to review our complete compilation with the video games that will be released between October 28 and November 1 2024 for Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices and PC, including highly anticipated titles along with other lesser-known projects.
To anticipate material, during these days the focus of attention is divided between the debut of ‘Life is Strange: Double Exposure‘ the new chapter of the well-known series that will be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and later on Nintendo Switch. Also eagerly awaited is the release of ‘Dragon Age: The Veilguard’, the fourth video game in BioWare’s iconic action role-playing adventure. Life is Strange: Double Exposure – Released October 29, 2024

‘Double Exposure’ is the long-awaited new chapter of the popular series developed by Deck Nine Games. The story follows Max Caulfield, a young woman with extraordinary power: the ability to rewind time. However, her life takes a dark turn when she discovers that her best friend, Safi, has died in the snow, apparently murdered. As Max attempts to solve this mystery, she is forced to use her temporal manipulation skillswhich he hasn’t used for years.
‘Life is Strange: Double Exposure’ promises to offer a supernatural experience, starring a cast known to its fans. Max must investigate the case while balancing his existence in two different realities and separate timelines. The game combines investigation mechanics with exploratory phases, where you will have to solve various puzzles to advance the narrative.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered – Released October 31, 2024

‘Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered’ is the long-awaited re-release of the original Guerrilla Games title, which debuted in 2017 on PS4 and arrived on PC in 2020. This remastered version promises to take full advantage of the capabilities of PS5 and the potential of PS5 PRO, offering a Significantly improved gaming experience.
Developed by Nixxes Software, it features a number of technical improvements, including Updated polygonal models, high-quality textures and more realistic facial expressions. New graphic effects have also been added, achieving visual fidelity comparable to that of its sequel, ‘Horizon Forbidden West’. Additionally, this remaster is compatible with PlayStation 5’s Tempest 3D Audio and takes advantage of all the features of the DualSense controller, including haptic feedback. Likewise, it introduces new accessibility options and offers full support for PlayStation Trophies on PC.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Released October 31, 2024

‘The Veilguard’ is the fourth video game in the role-playing series and action created by BioWare. With this new action RPG, the developer seeks to take the Dragon Age saga, which began in 2009, to new heights. The series continued with ‘Dragon Age 2’ in 2011 and ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ in 2014. After ten years of waiting, EA is preparing to revitalize its iconic fantasy franchise. The team behind ‘The Veilguard’ promises not only an epic narrative, but also intense combat and a more robust role-playing system than in previous deliveries.
