Catalonia faces this Wednesday a day marked by the heavy rain and risk of flooding. The episode maintains five regions in extreme danger and has led the Generalitat to adopt exceptional measures in the face of the possibility of rainfall of up to 40 liters per square meter in just 30 minutes.
The main restrictions affect the Baix Llobregat, Garraf, Vallès Occidental, Alt Penedès and Baix Penedèswhere educational activity is suspended and other activities are limited during the hours of greatest risk. Civil Protection has asked to avoid non-essential travel and to take extreme caution near rivers, streams and flood zones.
