This is the prognosis made by the State Meteorology Agency on the time of Spain this Thursday, August 28, in which the country will continue to be in the influence of an Atlantic trough that causes overcast skies and rains, normally accompanied by storms and hail in the peninsular northeast and in the archipelago.
Precisely in these points is where strong storms are foreseen even very strong: in Eastern Eastern enclaves, in Mallorca, Menorca and in the Pyrenean environment. Similar elements are also not ruled out on the Cantabrian Eastern Coast.
In the rest of the Peninsular North third, rainfall will be occasional. In the afternoon, except in the Mediterranean, the showers and storms will go less, so that skies will be clear and open clear. Temperatures
Temperatures will decrease in a generalized way: the maximums in the northern peninsular center will fall significantly, and those of the South and Northeast Plateau area as well. Only the maximums in East and Southeast Peninsular coastlines will rise, exceeding 35 degrees Celsius in regions of the southeast end.
In the Canary Islands no changes are expected. The minimums will not fall from 20 degrees, locally from 25, in the Mediterranean area.
Meteorological notices
Aemet keeps several meteorological notices active for this Thursday, August 25. The background that left brutal images on the Cadiz coast on Wednesday will continue to predominate, which is why there is yellow warning due to coastal phenomena between 08:00 hours and midnight the next day.
In Aragon, by 09:00 hours the yellow warning should have been deactivated by rains and storms. Cantabria, Navarra and the Basque Country will have to wait until noon to deactivate yellow notices by rains.
In Balearic Islands there will be orange notice for rains and storms from 10:00 a.m. to the end of the day. In Catalonia, the active yellow warning will become orange from 09:00 to 9:00 p.m., which will also be reduced to yellow by rains and storms.
For its part, the Valencian Community will also see orange warnings at noon until the end of the day due to rains, storms and also high temperatures.
