The Digital Cyl program that is applied in Castilla y León has raised the interest of several regions of regional Spain. This is how the government chaired by Fernández Mañueco in Castilla y León has signed a Collaboration Agreement with six autonomous communities (Extremadura, Navarra, Valencian Community, Murcia, Andalusia and Galicia) that this project of the region takes as a model, for which they will share all of them training and certification and self -diagnosis platforms in digital competences, and thus facilitate citizenship to the citizenship Access to tools that contribute to their personal and professional development in the Digital scope.

From the Board they emphasize that the Digital Training Cyl program in digital competences for citizens is a “successful model”, with more than 117,000 face -to -face users and more than 60,000 in telephone mode.

In addition, the autonomous administration manages 288 rural associated centers, facilitating access to digital training in all corners of the community, with special emphasis on rural areas.

With this agreement, all these autonomies seek to reinforce the collaboration for digital training in society and move towards an inclusive and equitable digital transformation.

Among the initiatives, are the self -diagnosis of digital competences, through platforms that allow users to evaluate their level of knowledge, training in digital competences, with access to online courses and face -to -face adapted to different levels and needs, the certification of digital skills, Based on European standards, such as the framework Digcomp and initiatives for dissemination and awareness, focused on promoting digital culture and reducing the digital divide.

The agreement has an initial duration of four years And it does not imply additional economic commitments for the signatory administrations, since each community will allocate its own resources to its implementation, P, according to sources from the Ministry of Mobility and Digital Transformation directed by José Luis Sanz Merino.

The signatories appeal to the importance of this collaboration to consolidate a digitally trained society and prepared for the challenges of technological transformation.
