During the RazerCon 2024Razer has presented the Kraken V4 Prothe latest addition to their ever-evolving gaming headset series for over 12 years. This new model, together with the Kraken V4 and Kraken V4 OLED Control Huba system designed to offer greater control and customization over the listening experience in video games.
Control and customization with the OLED Control Hub
The OLED Control Hub is one of the main new features of the Kraken V4 Pro. Inspired by audio amplifiers, it has an OLED screen arranged in a 20 degree angle, allowing you to manage more than 20 adjustable settings. These include options to modify audio and haptic feedback, as well as the ability to customize the display with system metrics, images, or animations.
Enhanced haptic immersion with Razer Sensa HD Haptics
In addition to audio control, the Razer Kraken V4 Pro incorporates the technology Razer Sensa HD Hapticswhich converts sound cues and in-game actions into haptic feedback. This feature, which seeks to intensify immersion during gameplay, is compatible with titles such as ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ and the upcoming ‘Final Fantasy XVI’ for PC. The memory foam and protein leather pads have been designed to maximize the transmission of these vibrations, improving the tactile experience.

The Kraken V4 Pro are equipped with 40mm Razer TriForce drivers, which include biocellulose diaphragms to improve clarity and reduce sound distortion. The headphones also have THX Spatial Audioproviding a 7.1 surround sound and custom profiles for over 60 games, allowing for better audio placement in three-dimensional environments.
Compatibility and communication quality
Compatible with a wide range of platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and mobile devices, the Razer Kraken V4 Pro offers several connectivity options. These include HyperSpeed Wireless for low latency, Bluetooth, wired USB, and a 3.5mm jack. In addition, the OLED Control Hub allows you to connect up to three audio sources simultaneously, making it easy to switch between devices without interruptions.
The Razer HyperClear Super Wideband microphone, also present in the BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 headset, ensures clear and precise voice pickup, essential in communication during games. The microphone’s retractable design improves comfort during extended use.
