Ubisoft higher-ups have confirmed that the DLC pack “Mask of Darkness” for ‘Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown’ will be released in mid-September 2024. The new content will be available on all platforms on which the game is represented, including the recent edition for PC/Steam.

In fact, “Mask of Darkness” will be released alongside the ‘Complete Edition’, which includes: the base title, the Immortals skin, the Bird of Prosperity amulet, the Warrior Within skin, a digital adventurer’s guide and two new appearances for Sargon inspired by ‘Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones’. This line will also include A new dark chapter in the history of SargonIn it, you’ll explore a new interconnected world shaped by unique biomes to create this original adventure in Mount Qaf.
To be specific, on September 17, the complete edition of ‘Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown’ will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC through Ubisoft’s Epic Games Store – and now on Steam. A complete upgrade pack will also be released and will be available to all owners of the game who wish to obtain four masks for Sargon, an amulet and the digital adventure guide.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Ubisoft’s new action-adventure platformer set in the mythological Persian world was developed at its Montpellier facilities and has players take on the role of Sargon, a young fighter who is part of the elite group of the Immortals. On his quest to rescue Prince Ghassan, he will explore Mount Qaf, a once wonderful place, but now cursed and hostile. The format features a structure inspired by the metroidvania genre that allows players to explore a handcrafted world at their own pace, passing through scenarios based on Persian mythology from the “Citadel of Knowledge” to the colorful landscapes of the “Hyrcanian Forests.”
