A home in A Coruña, shares in three other houses in Lugo and rights to dozens of inherited lands. It is the relationship of properties that Néstor Rego, representative of the BNG in Congressincluded in the declaration of assets and income presented by the August 10, 2023at the beginning of the XV legislature.
The document allows you to know both the percentages you declared on each property and your savings, investments and debts. This is the information presented on that date, so the amounts should not be interpreted as an update of your assets in 2026.
One fully owned home and three partially inherited
Rego declared the 100% of a home in the province of A Coruña. The form includes two acquisition dates, corresponding to each halves of the property, in 2003 and 2020and self-construction and purchase are indicated as acquisition titles.
The other three homes are located in lugo and come from an inheritance from 2007. Regarding one of them, the 25% of the bare property. In the other two, this percentage amounts to 50%also in undivided regime.
The relationship therefore includes rights over four homes, although only one is fully owned. The other three correspond to inherited shares with the conditions specified in the document.
The rights to 54 rural properties in Lugo
The rural property section contains the highest figure in the declaration. Rego noted 52 plots of forest or cultivation, uncultivated or destined for forestry productionlocated in Lugo. About this set declared the 50% of the bare property in undividedacquired by inheritance in 2007.
Below appear two other farms in the same provinceof which he declared 25% of the bare ownership, also inherited in 2007. Both records add up rights over 54 rural properties, without this being equivalent to full ownership of all those lands.
The form does not provide an economic valuation of the homes or plots. It also does not detail the surface area of the land, so its number does not allow us to calculate how much the whole thing is worth.
More than 27,000 euros in an account and a pension plan
In the deposits section, the BNG representative recorded a savings account with 27,138.68 euros. Added to this is a pension plan of 34,935.51 euros.
He also declared ten shares of Sermos Galiza SAvalued at 1,000 euros, and ten shares of Tempo Galiza SLfor 1,500 euros. The list of vehicles includes a Suzuki Marauder motorcycle acquired in 2010, a 2014 Citroën C4 and a 2016 Fiat Panda.
A mortgage with 184,062 euros outstanding
The declaration also includes a Abanca mortgage loan granted in August 2020. Its initial amount was 220,000 euros and the outstanding balance that appears in the document is 184,062 euros.
Regarding the income of the previous year, Rego noted 7,284.72 euros per seniority of the Department of Education of the Xunta de Galiciacorresponding to 2022. This amount does not represent all of his income as a parliamentarian, since the instructions on the form exclude remuneration from Congress or the Senate, published separately. The net amount of personal income tax recorded was 20,910.38 euros.
