Last minute of DANA in Valencia and Spain, live today: aid, dead and missing

A week after the floods that have devastated numerous municipalities in the province of Valencia, the work of search for missing persons, care for victims, repair of infrastructurereplacement of services and cleaning of homes, businesses and municipal areas. In Catalonia, the DANA begins to retire this Tuesday after torrential rains that in the last few hours have collapsed transportation and roadsand there is still a risk of precipitation in the Ebro and northwest regions of Girona.

The Council of Ministers will foreseeably approve this Tuesday the declaration of an area seriously affected by a civil protection emergency for those areas hardest hit by DANA and which, among other measures, will provide financial aid to the victims of this natural disaster that has caused up to moment 217 deaths. Apart from the Valencian Community, the geographical areas most devastated by the storm are Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia, Catalonia and Aragon. For its part, the Andalusian Government will activate today decree 277/23 of aid to the 285 affected Andalusian municipalities.
