San Pedro del Vaticano Square hosts this Saturday The funeral of Pope Francisin which thousands of people and delegations are expected headed by representatives of more than one hundred countries, such as the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, or that of the USA, Donald Trump, among many others.
The funeral will officially begin at 10.00 (8.00 GMT) in the Vatican Square and will be officiated by Cardinal Dean, Giovanni Battista Regiven the presence of other purpurated and the curia. The coffin with the body of Pope Francis will be taken on his shoulders from within the Basilica, where he has been exposed for three days, to be left in the ‘Sacred’, the upper part of the square.
The Mass will be attended by delegations from 130 countries and international organizations, including some 50 heads of state or government and a dozen reigning sovereignlike the kings of Spain, Felipe VI and Letizia.
