Images of ‘Diddy’ Combs hugging inmates in prison were generated by AI, according to TMZ

Images spread on social networks that show the rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs hugging other inmates or posing in prison have been debunked as fakes generated by artificial intelligence (IA), the portal reported this Monday TMZ.

Although there are authentic photographs of the artist at the FCI Fort Dix prison in New Jersey, where he is serving his sentence, these do not match those that have recently gone viral, according to the media.

His representative, Juda Engelmayer, told the portal that the images had been “made with AI” and warned about the risks of spreading manipulated content, especially when it comes to federal prisons.

On the other hand, TMZ denounces irregularities in the facial proportions, shadows and textures of the images, typical characteristics of artificial content generators.

However, real recordings of the rapper working in prison have been published, such as his work in the prison library.

The artist, founder of the Bad Boy Records record label and promoter of the careers of musicians such as The Notorious BIG and Danity Kane, is serving a sentence of more than four years in prison after being found guilty in July of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

After a trial that lasted two months, Combs, 55, was exonerated of the most serious crimes he faced, sex trafficking and organized crime.

Prosecutors accused Diddy of forcing his now ex-girlfriends to have marathon encounters with male sex workers that usually included the use of drugs, such as ecstasy or ketamine, and that could last for days.
