Extreme heat AEMET alert in these regions

Areas of 33 provinces distributed over 11 autonomous communities are this Wednesday under notice due to high temperatures, heavy rains and/or intense storms, on another day of heat and rainfall in this final stretch of spring.

The prediction of the State Meteorology Agency (Aemet), collected by Servimedia, indicates that Asturias, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Cantabria, Navarra and the Basque Country are the only communities that are fought from the notices.

There is an orange notice – an important risgo – by suffocating heat in Córdoba and Seville (40 degrees in the countryside), and Jaén (40 in Sierra Morena, the County and the Guadalquivir Valley), and for very strong rains of at least 40 liters per square meter in an hour and intense storms in Valencia (interior south).

The rest of the notices are yellow -riesto- and refer to temperatures of 36 to 39 degrees, according to the areas, in areas of Ávila, Badajoz, Cáceres, Cádiz, Ciudad Real, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Huesca, Jaén, León, Lleida, Lug Zaragoza.

The yellow warning for evening storms refers to places in Albacete, Alicante, Castellón, Teruel, Valencia and Zaragoza (which are also under yellow warning due to heavy rains), as well as Burgos, Cuenca, Guadalajara, La Rioja, Murcia, Segovia and Soria.
