Spain faces a critical day for forest fires that affect several autonomous communities. The most worrying situations are concentrated in Ávila and Cáceres: The municipality of El Arenal remains confined by the progress of fire in the Sierra de Gredos, while in Las Hurdes, about 200 people have had to be evicted from different alkery before the threat of flames.
To this is added the intervention of the UME, road cuts and numerous means deployed by land and air in several active spotlights of the country.
