Catalonia celebrates this Friday September 11, Diada 2026a day that will once again bring together institutional events and independence mobilizations in different parts of the community. Special attention will be focused on Barcelona, where the main demonstration will begin at 5:14 p.m. and will feature two columns that will run through the center until converging on Plaza de Catalunya.
The day begins after an eve marked by tension in the Fossar de les Moreres, where the Mossos deployed a device to separate Aliança Catalana sympathizers and anti-fascist protesters. During the protests, charging and pushing took place to prevent both groups from confronting each other.
