Castilla y León reinforces its training offer in digital skills and launches a new and interesting online course MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) which, under the name “I am digitally competent: build your best digital version”, aims to provide new digital skills and knowledge to the students who participate. .
The Ministry of Mobility and Digital Transformation promotes this free training that gives the opportunity to improve the curriculum and access better job opportunities thanks to obtaining an official diploma from the Junta de Castilla y León, as long as the course is passed.
Another of its great incentives is that it provides the university student with the opportunity to have these course modules can be recognized as ECTS credits at the Public Universities of Burgos and Valladolid. This activity is now in effect and runs until December 16. The course, which is divided into five modules, has the possibility of obtaining individual certification in each of them.
1- Search and management of information and data. Efficiently search for different types of information on the Internet through different browsers and manage information in cloud applications such as Google Drive or OneDrive.
2- Communication and collaboration. Discover how to use email effectively, tricks to get the most out of WhatsApp or Telegram, video conferencing tools and social networks.
3- Creation of digital content. This course addresses the advanced use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF documents, cloud office automation (Office365, Google Drive), as well as image and video editing and creation with free tools.
4- Security. In this case, students are introduced to the main security risks on the Internet and taught how to protect information and personal data. po
5- Problem solving. This last course gives the opportunity to solve the main problems that arise in the use of technology, knowing in depth the resources of the different operating systems: Windows, Android, iOS.
