Electronic Arts and BioWare have revealed the plans for the launch of the long-awaited ‘Dragon Age: The Veilguard‘, which he published worldwide October 31, 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on Steam (confirmed for Steam Deck), EA app and Epic Games Store.
The Veilguard
The next chapter of the fantasy saga will invite players to control Rook, a fully customizable Avatar who will assemble a team and become the heroic figure that Thedas needs. In his fight against the Elven Gods, our Alter Ego He will be accompanied by a group of seven comrades belonging to the different historical factions from ‘Dragon Age’. In addition to their own personal stories and motivations, Bellara, Davrin, Emmrich, Harding, Lucanis, Neve and Taash will each be equipped with signature techniques and equipment that can be used in combat strategies during the fight.
The developer presents the experience as a character-based role-playing game which promises a rich experience, along with an interesting story and the fantasy environments for which the franchise is known. “In this adventure, players will experience broad and dynamic stories that include romance, loss, and complex decisions that will affect the relationships and destiny of each member of the Veil Guard. In true Dragon Age style, these bonds of camaraderie are the foundation on which Rook’s adventure is built, and the player will decide how his personal story unfolds,” they explain.
15 years in development
“As someone who’s been working on Dragon Age for over 15 years, I know how much our community has been waiting, and I’m just as excited to share that the game will officially launch on October 31st,” said John Epler, Creative Director. “We wanted to give you the option to truly express yourself, and do so in a world full of adventure and danger. So whether you’re a Warrior, Rogue, or Mage, we can’t wait for you to gear up, gather your party, and set out on another exciting adventure across Thedas this Halloween.”
