Forest fires continue to devour the countryside and the Mount of the Peninsular Northwest, with special severity in Galicia, León and Extremadura. The flames already threaten the Natural Park of Los Picos de Europa, while thousands of hectares continue to burn in different active spotlights in Ourense, the fires have already razed more than 58,500 hectares, while in Extremadura, the Jarilla fire has consumed 11,000 hectares. In the province of León, the fires keep 2,000 people evicted. The tragedy has already charged four fatalities, three of them in León. The last deceased is a firefighter who died when he turned the pump that led in the tasks of extinction of the Yeres Fire. Another partner was injured in the same accident.
