A settling of scores is being considered as a motive for the death of two young people in Almería

Investigators are considering a possible motive for the deaths of two young men aged between 20 and 30, whose lifeless bodies with gunshot wounds were found this Sunday in the Almería neighbourhood of Los Molinos.

This was indicated to EFE by sources close to the case, who have specified that the bodies of the two young men, of Maghreb origin, were found with signs of violence at around 02:30 this Sunday on Alcolea Street, behind a well-known pub in this neighborhoodlocated at the roundabout that diverts traffic to the airport.

As they explained, One of the deceased has a gunshot wound to the face and the second, several dozen meters away from the first, has another gunshot wound to the head..

These sources indicate that one of them could have tried to escape by running, since in his case the shot hit him in the back, which would explain the separation from the body of the other executed man.

The Almería Provincial Police Station has reported that the Judicial Police Brigade is investigating the events and that “the autopsy of the bodies is being carried out and, therefore, the circumstances” of this event are not yet known.

For their part, sources from the Health and Consumption Delegation of the Junta have indicated to EFE that when the 061 arrived at the scene the young people had already died and have indicated that the case is under summary secrecy.
