A new Atlantic front loaded with rain arrives in Spain

After the Atlantic Vaguada of the last days that has left overcast skies and rains in the Peninsular North Third, this Friday, August 29, the time will remain marked but now by the arrival of a new Atlantic front that will sweep several areas of the country.

It is the prognosis of the State Meteorology Agency (Aemet) that details it, and that already speaks of cloudy skies and rains in Galicia that will extend occasionally to the Cantabrian, to end up reactivating in the Pirinero and in the Northeast Catalan. It will be there where the showers could go with storms and be strong at the end.

The unstable time in the Balearic Islands will also be maintained and, early, in the Catalan coast, with showers and storms with a probability of being strong or locally very strong, also loaded with hail. In the rest of the Peninsula a more stable time is expected, although with cloudy skies in the rest of the northern half and abundant high cloudiness in the south tending to clear.

In the Canary Islands you will see cloudy skies in the nortes with possible weak and scattered rainfall in the islands of greater relief and little cloudy to the south.

As for the temperatures, the maximum will descend in the Balearic Islands and in coastlines of the peninsular southeast, predominantly the increases in the rest of the peninsula. They can be exceeded by 35 degrees at points of the South Mediterranean and the Guadalquivir. The minimums will increase in the peninsular northwest end, descending in the rest of the Peninsula and in the Balearic Islands. They will not fall from 20 degrees in the Mediterranean area nor are thermal changes in the Canary Islands.
