The AEMET foresees a day marked by atmospheric instability due to the passage of a atlantic troughwhich will evolve towards a Dana throughout the day. The skies will remain cloudy or overcast in a good part of the Peninsula, with the exception of south end, Ceuta and Melillawhere the clear ones will predominate. Since dawn they have been waiting weak rainfall in the Cantabrian Sea and isolated storms in Ciudad Real that could extend to nearby areas.
From the central hours of the day, the formation of evolution clouds will trigger showers and storms in large areas of the peninsular interior and in Balearicsespecially in mountain areas and in the east. The AEMET warns that these storms could be strong or very strongaccompanied by very intense gusts of wind and hailwhich in some points could reach large size.
In Canary Islandsthe heavens will be cloudy in the north of the most prominent islands, without ruling out some weak precipitationwhile in the rest the skies will predominate slightly cloudy or clear. The forecast also includes weak hazewhich will especially affect the eastern islands.
Fog in the north and notable drop in temperatures
The meteorological agency predicts fog banks in the extreme north and on the coasts of Alboran. Temperatures will drop in the Peninsula and in both archipelagos, with a drop remarkable of the maxims in the interior of the northern thirdwhere the decline will exceed six degrees.
