An Atlantic front will cross the peninsula from west to east this Wednesday, leaving intense rainfall, storms, hail or very strong gusts of wind in much of the country. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMEY) has activated warnings in eleven autonomous communities. In the extreme southwest of the peninsula there could be “some small tornado or waterspout”.
In Andalusia, the provinces of Cádiz, Huelva, Málaga and Seville have an orange notice due to storms and intense rains, which could leave 30 liters in an hour. In Córdoba and Granada There is a yellow alert for rainfall of 20-25 liters in one hour and for storms.

Risk of large hail and possible tornadoes
The AEMET warns that in the extreme southwest of the peninsula, especially in Andalusia and Extremadura, the formation of large hail and even small tornadoes or sea waves is not ruled out.
Maximum temperatures will be decreasing in the west of the peninsula and locally notable in the Canary Islands, with increases in the lower Ebro and regions of the central south and northeast of the peninsula. In the rest, few changes are expected.
Regarding the minimums, decreases are expected in the Canary Islands and in the extreme northwest of the peninsula, while in the rest there will be predominance of increases.
