The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has published this Thursday in the Official Gazette of the region (DOCM) a new call for aid Adelante Digitalization that aims to promote digital transformation projects in SMEs and self-employed of the region, as well as in the manufacturing industry.
This was announced by the Minister of Economy, Business and Employment, Patricia Franco, during the inauguration of the XIII Entrepreneurship Forum of the Chamber of Commerce held this October 17 in Ciudad Real.
The counselor has highlighted that this aid can reach an amount of up to 15,000 euros in the case of the self-employed and SMEs; and up to 120,000 euros in the manufacturing industry sector. In this sense, Patricia Franco has pointed out that this new call for aid will have a total investment of three million euros.
“There will be two help lines: One addressed to the SMEs and self-employed in which aid can reach a 70 percent coverage of the projects, and up to 15,000 euros; and another for the manufacturing industry and its digital transformation, with aid of up to 120,000 euros that can cover 40 percent of the project, in the case of medium-sized companies, and 50 percent of the project costs in the case of micro and small businesses “, pointed out the counselor.
At the same time, the counselor recalled the implementation of aid for the start and consolidation of activity of self-employed workers in the region, which this year has been awarded with 13 million euros and which will cover more than 5,300 people throughout Castilla-La Mancha.
“More than 1.5 million euros are already in the pockets of the self-employed and the autonomous ones of the province of Ciudad Real”, he celebrated.
New aid in 2025 so that 8,000 self-employed people can start a business
Along these same lines, Patricia Franco has stressed that In 2025 these aid will continue “and we will add to the support of entrepreneurship the Flat Rate Plusas announced by President Page within the framework of the DER, with an investment of 9.5 million euros that will allow more than 8,000 self-employed people can undertake at zero cost in the first two years of activity in the region,” he said.
Aid for blockchain or cybersecurity projects
Returning to the aid from Adelante Digitalización, the counselor has expressed that this year it includes projects related to new challenges such as blockchain or cybersecurity.
The application period will open tomorrow and will remain available for a period of two months.
“We support entrepreneurship in all its realities,” indicated the counselor, adding that this joint commitment of the administrations and the private sector “means that the entrepreneurship rate that we measure year after year in the GEM report has been equalized by for the first time in this year to the national average”.

In order to benefit from this new call for Adelante Digitalization aid, you must meet the following requirements:

- Be up to date with compliance with tax obligations.
- Carry out your economic activity and your actions and investments within the community of Castilla-La Mancha.
- Not be subject to any of the circumstances established in article 13.2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17.
- Not being considered a company in crisis as defined in article 2.18 of the Regulation (EU)
- Have an occupational risk prevention plan.
- Not having accepted aid that cumulatively exceeds 300,000 euros.
- Develop and apply an equality plan, when an agreement is mandatory for effective equality between men and women.

Patricia Franco concluded by praising the role of Castilla-La Mancha within the business and entrepreneurial sector as it closed 2024 as “the autonomous community with the greatest business confidence in the entire country, eleven points above the average and having completed the entire year 2024, uninterruptedly, as the region with highest Business Confidence Index in all of Spain in the four quarters of the year”.
