10 launches on the opening day of CES 2025

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which sets expectations and trends in the world of consumer technology each January, officially opened its show floor in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday.

The fair will run until Saturday and, even before its official opening, was dominating the headlines of the technology press last weekend.

Here we present 10 of the most relevant launches announced at the moment.

Nvidia Cosmos AI: Nvidia introduced Cosmos, a family of artificial intelligence models designed to improve navigation and understanding of the environment by humanoid robots and autonomous vehicles. Companies like Agility and Uber are already implementing this technology.

Nvidia Digits: Nvidia announced Digits, a personal supercomputer designed so that data scientists, students and developers can create and test AI applications with their own computers, without necessarily resorting to expensive cloud computing services. This compact device, powered by the new GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, is capable of handling models with up to 200 billion parameters. With 128 GB of unified memory and up to 4 TB of storage, it will have a base price of $3,000. The launch is planned for May 2025.

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable AI PC: Lenovo introduced a laptop with a rollable OLED display, which expands from 14 to 16.7 inches. It will sell for $3,500 and up.

Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 360: The South Korean expanded its Galaxy line with two new laptops, equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors and functions based on artificial intelligence, Photo Remaster image editing. He did not reveal sales prices.

Asus Zenbook A14: Asus presented this contender to Apple’s MacBook Air, as it combines a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon The new Zenbook is made of the high-tech Ceraluminum material, which combines ceramic and aluminum for a durable, lightweight and scratch-resistant finish. It will start at $1,100.

SwitchBot K20+ Pro: A platform can be mounted on this robot vacuum cleaner to serve as a “waitress” and help transport trays with food or drinks from one point to another in the home. You can also mount a fan, security camera or air purifier so that it can perform more than one task while cleaning the floor. This updated model is expected to be available by the end of 2025.

Samsung The Frame Pro TV: The television that camouflages itself as if it were a work of art on the wall comes in 2025 with a superior quality image.

Smart alarms: Amazon’s Ring brand and the renowned Kidde brand come together to produce a new generation of smart smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. These devices offer real-time alerts through the Ring app, very popular in the United States, and the option of 24/7 professional monitoring for $5 per month. They work without the need to install an additional Ring system.

Anker Solix: This beach umbrella contains photovoltaic cells that, while protecting users from the fury of the sun, allow various equipment or batteries to be recharged. It can produce 100 watts, via USB-C and XT-60 ports, in addition to being compatible with the Anker portable cooler and external batteries. No retail price has been provided yet, but it is expected to be available in time for use this summer.

Belkin BoostCharge: Belkin, one of the leading brands in keeping everyday devices charged, introduced a 20,000 mAh external battery with 30W fast charging, capable of charging an iPhone 16 Pro from 0 to 50% in 25 minutes. It will be available in April 2025. No price has been provided.

This year, CES has more than 4,500 exhibitors, occupying about 2.5 million square feet.
