Video game and comics week: Final Fantasy VII and Gotham Central, other protagonists of the cultural field

We are preparing to face the last week of February 2024 and we do so with an interesting battery of news in the interactive leisure sector. As usual, we have prepared a compilation with the video games that will be released between February 26 and March 1, for Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices and PC, including renowned titles along with other lesser known projects. The main focus of attention these days is on the highly anticipated 'Final Fantasy VII Rebirth', which is exclusively published for PlayStation 5, since the PC version does not yet have a confirmed release date. In another range, video games such as 'Spiritfall', either 'Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster'. We start the agenda on Monday, February 26 with 'Pull Stay'(PC); 'Rock Star Life Simulator'(PC); and 'Gods Again Machines'(PC). (Xbox One, Xbox Series); 'Minami Lane'(PC); 'Secret Archives'(PC); 'Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster' (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch); and 'Thyria' (PC). On the last day of the month the news is distributed between 'Final Fantasy VII Rebirth' (PS5); 'Welcome to ParadiZe' (PC, PS5, Xbox Series); 'Astral Party'(PC); 'Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders'(PC); 'Stella Abyss Bar'(PS4, PS5, Switch); 'Direct Contact'(PC); 'Tamarak Trail'(PC); and 'Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast'(PC). Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake – Released February 28, 2024

The iconic cooperative adventure originally developed by Starbreeze Studios under the auspices of Josef Fares publishes an updated version, which has been entrusted to the Avantgarden team with the promise of recovering the intense emotions that the original little gem offered us. To achieve this, they have ensured an updated graphic sector and an artistic reconstruction that will easily be noticeable in more detailed scenarios and refined characters, with many lighting effects, additional particles, a revision of the animations and a series of reinterpretations in the control system and in the range of accessibility options.

Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster – Released February 28, 2024

Over the last few years, several classics of the 'Star Wars' franchise have returned through remastered versions, such as 'Knights of the Old Republic', 'Republic Commando' or 'Star Wars Racer'. To these names is about to be added 'Dark Forces Remaster', a new edition of the title that is recreated through Nightdive Studios' patented KEX engine, which ensures 4K resolutions and 120 fps. Among the features applied to the original format are high-definition textures, improved rendering and more realistic lighting effects. The content, on the other hand, remains intact, with its intense missions and its striking arsenal of weapons, skills and gadgets that you can use to make your way through this first-person adventure.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – Released February 29, 2024

'Rebirth' is the second installment of the ambitious remake project of 'Final Fantasy VII', which tells in three parts the story that redefined the RPG genre. To play delivery it is not necessary to have completed the first part, as it can be enjoyed as an independent adventure. The game takes Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Aeris and Red It is a new adventure across a vast planet that tells the exodus of this unique troop of characters to hunt down Sephiroth, a fallen hero and vengeful swordsman who is part of Cloud's past.

Paper releases

In the editorial panorama we close the month of February with the publication of The complete saga of 'Gotham Central, a valuable volume focused on the lives of Gotham City's MCU agents as they work in a city that has been invaded by metahumans and supercriminals. We also pay due attention to 'The Impossible Patrol X 1 Second Genesis!', a historic edition of the totally new and different X-Men, and we complete the week with 'Young Gods & Friends' a creative, graphic and emotional gem created by Barry Windsor-Smith in the mid-nineties that returns to shelves.
