Vicente Valles has focused its analysis of the housing crisis on the Government’s difficulties in gathering support for a decree on evictions. The Executive wants to approve new measures after the case of Maricarmen, the 87-year-old woman evicted from the house she had lived in for more than seven decadeswhile negotiating with parties that maintain differences over the scope of the regulation.
The journalist has summarized this scenario in his comment in Antena 3 News. “Moncloa needs to agree on a decree on evictions of Junts, from the right, with Sumar and Podemos, from the extreme left,” he said. With this description, Vallés focuses on the political distance between the parties with which Pedro Sánchez seeks to carry out the initiative.
The negotiation takes place with housing at the center of the protests and with a camping in Puerta del Sol that demands responses against evictions. The Government is working to bring the text to Council of Ministers on Tuesday, September 29although the content remains pending agreement.
Vallés points out the difficulties in agreeing on the decree

The understanding with Junts must fit with the demands of Sumar, which is part of the Executive, and with the position of Podemos.
