A stationary frontal system located in the north-central of the Peninsulacombined with a low-pressure Atlantic circulation, will be responsible for a new episode of widespread rain. Meteorologists warn that the rains could reach notable intensity in the western environment of the Central System, where storm activity is not ruled out. More specifically, the southeast of Castilla y León could also experience intense rainfall accompanied by storms.
The Agency also points out the probable formation of fog banks morning fogs in the Central System and the Southern Plateau, as well as frontal mists in the northern half of the peninsula.
Temperature instability
The temperatures will present a disparate behavior throughout the Spanish geography. The maximums are expected to rise in the Southern Plateau, the central-eastern peninsula, the eastern Betica and the Balearic Islands, while in the rest of the territory they will decrease slightly. As for the minimum temperatures, they will experience increases in the northern half and the Balearic Islands, with possible weak and isolated frosts in the Pyrenees.

The wind pattern will show a southern component turning north in the Cantabrian Sea, and western and southern components in the rest of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. Moderate winds are expected in the coastal areas and light to moderate winds in the interior, with intervals of strong intensity from the north on the Galician coasts. In the Canary Islands, the forecast indicates light northwesterly winds with a predominance of breezes and skies with more abundant cloudy intervals in the north of the islands.
