This year three projects have been awarded to be rewarded with 120,000 euros.
The project Micorriza Surdriven by the cooperative Florestasur, It promotes ecological restoration of rural areas through myorrhized forest plants with edible mushrooms, aimed at recovering abandoned chestnut trees. For its part, the Regenerative Grazalema Foundation It proposes to transform extensive livestock in Western Betic mountains through sustainable practices that encourage soil fertility, biodiversity and generational relief. And finally, the third recognition ended in the hands of the Generation Spain Foundationwhich shapes and guides people in vulnerable situation towards high -demand green jobs, achieving 85% labor insertion among its participants. On this occasion, 214% more candidacies have been received, which represents an increase of 50% compared to the previous year. Startups, foundations, cooperatives, NGOs and public entities have presented proposals centered on the Circular economygreen employability, responsible consumption and renewable energies, among other areas.
The awards were delivered at the Moeve Tower before those responsible for the ten finalist entities. “The quality of the projects that have attended is a reflection of the broad scope and ambition of these awards, which seek to give all the agents of our society the opportunity to contribute to the fair ecological transition. In addition, they are also a sample of all the talent dedicated to the ecological transition.
