Uncertainty for the Dana that could arrive in Spain this Sunday. The forecasts pose, of course, that it would be weak and lose strength quickly, but would leave showers for the east peninsular. This is the forecast that the State Meteorology Agency (AEMET) maintains for this Sunday, August 24.
The approximation of a little active front by the Northwest is expected for this week with the consequent formation of a Dana in the Southwest, with uncertainty about its evolution. In the country it is expected to see clear skies or high clouds, only morning fog banks in Galicia, Cantabrico, Alto Ebro, Eastern Mediterranean Area, Southeast Interior, South of Andalusia and Alborán.
In the afternoon is when they are expected to increase the cloudiness in the north and east halves, although throughout this morning you can also see showers and morning storms in Catalan coastlines and in the afternoon in Navarra, northern Aragon, Catalonia, Western Cantabrian and Eastern Iberian.
An isolated showers are not ruled out in the rest of the north, east and Alborán halves. They could be locally strong in areas of the northeast interior, without ruling out the mountains of the southeast. In the Canary Islands, low cloud intervals are expected in the Nortes and little cloudy in the rest.

The maxims will descend in the Canary Islands, in the South Atlantic aspect and in Galicia. They will increase in the Balearic Islands, oriental and, accused, in the eastern interior Cantabrian. It is expected to exceed 35 degrees in the Ebro, Medio Guadalquivir and in the Vega del Segura.
The minimums will increase in the northern peninsular half, locally notable in Soria and surrounding areas, with declines in the Canary Islands. Few changes in the rest. They will not fall from 20 degrees in the Canary Islands, under Ebro, Mediterranean Area and depressions of the South Atlantic aspect.
Winds of lazy to moderate will blow in most of the Peninsula and Balearic Islands. South and East Components will predominate in the Eastern Mediterranean area and Eastern Third, the Northeast in Cantabrian and Galicia and the West and Southwest components in the rest. In the Canary Islands, moderate Alisio will blow with strong intervals.
Meteorological notices this Sunday, August 24
Due to the forecast for this day, the AEMET has activated several notices of different level. They will be yellow for storms in Castilla y León and La Rioja, between 12:00 noon and until the end of the day. There will also be yellow notices for the same phenomena in Aragon, Navarra and in the Valencian Community from 2:00 p.m.
An orange warning for rains and storms has also been activated from 2:00 p.m. to the end of the day.
