These are the areas where there are yellow notices for storms

On Saturday, it starts with most of the country with clear or little cloudy skies: only in areas of the north and this peninsular, as well as in the areas of Alborán and Huelva, morning low clouds can be seen, with possible fog banks and the best rainfall in coastlines of the northern half of the Mediterranean area, which can be strong in coastlines and prelitors of Catalonia.

This is the forecast of the State Meteorology Agency (Aemet) for this Saturday, August 23. The month is on its way to marking records as one of the warmest in the historical series, and although there is no longer any special warning for heat wave, the summer continues to make its own throughout the country.

It is true that the Aemet expects this Saturday the maximum temperatures to fall in Rías Baixas and in Western Andalusia, although they will increase moderately in the northern half. The 35 degrees Celsius will be exceeded in valleys of the South Atlantic slope and in the Miño. The increases in mountains of the center and northwest will predominate, and the descents in the Cantabrian and in the Ebro.

In the Canarian archipelago they will not get off the 20 degrees.

Likewise, cloudiness of evolution will be developed in large areas of the center, northwest and eastern third and in Mallorca, with a probability of scattered showers and some occasional storm in the northeast of Catalonia, oriental Iberian and, with the possibility of being locally strong, interior of Mallorca, without discarding in other mountain areas of the Mediterranean area. In the Canary Islands, Nubed morning intervals in the north and little cloudy or clear in the rest.
