The fraudulent apotify premium apks stop working

Android Application Packages (APK) of Spotify Premium that allowed users to access the advanced features included in the payment version of the ‘streaming’ content service without paying for them have stopped working.

An APK is a Android application package that is used to distribute and install packaged components for said operating system in ‘smartphones’, tablets and computers. These files are usually made available to users through code repositories, such as Github. These files help download applications from unofficial platforms, that is, without the need to go through Google Play or App Store, which can jeopardize the safety of users and devices from which the installation is carried out.

Some applications have one or more APK alternatives, as is the case of Spotify, which allow users to install a modified version of the application without any cost. In this way, they can access certain exclusive functionalities of the subscription without paying an amount for it. Among some of the functions included in this format, are the elimination of ads, listening to songs in any order, high audio quality or music download to listen to it without being connected to a Wi -Fi network. Because they are discharged in parallel to official channels, modified APKs are a risk to users and their data, since they are offered without having previously passed through any supervision process to verify that they meet the safety standards.

Despite this, many users opt for this alternative to avoid paying for the characteristics provided by the subscription. However, Spotify Premium APKs have stopped working, as indicated by several users of the unofficial Spotify Premium application on social networks such as X.

Downdector has also pointed out, which has shared the peak of shared failures in the last 24 hours and the comments of some of those affected, who have indicated interruptions in the reproduction of lists and the loss of information stored in the applications. Other affected people have nuanced that, despite having downloaded unofficial APKs and similar to that of Spotify Premium, they have not been able to access the Spotify service, suggesting that the platform has blocked all of them.
