He War Department of the United States has published the third batch of documents and videos related to unidentified anomalous phenomenawhat was previously known as ufos and which is now often called FANI either UAPfor its acronym in English. This new batch includes 53 documents and 10 images from the CIA, FBI, NASA, Department of Defense and other unspecified agencies, along with six videos and three audio recordings from NASA. Orb-shaped objects can be seen in the sky in the videos, while a set of images and clips offer ‘artistic interpretations’ of the reported sightings.
In total, there are 72 reports that follow the 162 published on May 8 and the 64 published on the 22nd. Their publication is part of the program PURSUEacronym in English for Presidential System for Declassification and Notification of Encounters with UAPlaunched by donald trump on February 19 after ordering the Secretary of War and other agencies to begin identifying and publishing Government files related to extraterrestrial life, UAP and UFOs. The new documents They do not provide evidence of alien lifebut they offer additional details about several unsolved cases that investigators have not been able to conclusively explain.
A potato-shaped UFO
One of the most detailed reports refers to a sighting that occurred in February 2022 near Colorado Springs, Colorado. Five members of the United States Army stationed at Fort Carson said they saw an unusual object suspended over Cheyenne Mountain.
‘The object was potato-shaped, with defined edges, and appeared to be painted a creamy or whitish opalescent color’says an FBI document. Witnesses said the object appeared to be made of ‘articulated scales or panels like those of a fish, not symmetrical, not overlapping and irregular in shape’.
According to the report, the object remained motionless for about two minutes before disappearing. No photographs or videos were captured.
The researchers subsequently evaluated, with ‘low confidence’that the sighting could have been due to sunlight reflecting off snow-covered terrain and illuminating the clouds. However, witnesses spoke of clear skies, and investigators found no signs of balloons, aircraft or known foreign technology in the area.
‘Are you seeing this?’
Another case involved five federal agents who said they had observed bright orange and red spheres in October 2023. According to the documents, the objects appeared on a ridge and, in some cases, they seemed to generate other smaller spheres. One of the agents reported that his partner asked him ‘Are you seeing this?’while the spheres illuminated the sky.
An analysis carried out by the All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office The Pentagon studied several possible explanations, including military exercises and the launching of flares in the vicinity. The report points out that these explanations They were plausible, but not conclusiveand points out that the observations could imply ‘unrecognized technology’.
Other sightings
Also included is an FBI report describing a sighting that occurred in 2025 in the northeastern United States. A witness said he saw a glowing red sphere near a wooded area.
‘Within the red sphere, in the center, there appeared to be what (censored) described as a white plasma sun about the size of a basketball‘ says the report.
The witness stated that he appeared a second sphere before both objects silently moved away. The file includes images recorded with a mobile phone in which two luminous red objects are seen moving through the sky.
Among the oldest documents is a CIA report from Zimbabwe and dated 2008. Witnesses near the country’s main airport described a disk-shaped object with rotating lights. ‘At one point during the observation, rays were seen coming out of the object.it is pointed out.
So far, the Trump Administration has declassified 298 files related to UAPwith documents dating back to the 1940s. The War Department indicated that more records will be published in future batches as reviews and declassification work progress.
