NASA maintains that there is no possibility of an asteroid hitting the Moon in 2032

The agency had forecast a 4.3% chance of a direct hit. But observations made by the Webb Space Telescope in February helped scientists fine-tune the asteroid’s orbit.

This new information indicates that the asteroid will pass the Moon by 13,200 miles on December 22, 2032.

Discovered in late 2024, it initially looked like the asteroid could threaten Earth. Last year, scientists ruled out a collision with our planet any time in the next century.but they pointed out that the Moon could still be a target. The asteroid measures about 200 feet wide.
