The president of Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, arrives at today’s call as the top favorite to revalidate the victory in the regional elections in the region and consolidate the victory obtained in 2019, the year in which the Popular Party recovered the government of the community after the socialist victory of 2019.
The polls show Mañueco as the winnerwith a slight growth compared to the 2022 elections. Thus, according to the latest NC Report poll for LA RAZÓN, the Popular Party would obtain up to 32 seats, followed by the PSOE of Carlos Martínez, which would maintain the 28 attorneys from four years ago and Vox would confirm its growth, as already happened in the recent calls for Extremadura and Aragón, and would go from 13 representatives to 16-17 in 2026.
As already happened in the previous call and as has happened in Extremadura and Aragón, The right would obtain the majority necessary to govern, but a pact between the Popular Party and the party led by Santiago Abascal would be necessary. In this event, 42 votes are necessary to obtain the majority due to the incorporation of a solicitor in the province of Segovia, for a total of 82 seats.
