Carmen Morodo’s podcast: “Wet dreams of funerals”

In her new podcast, the deputy director of LA RAZÓN analyses the sweet moment that Moncloa and the PSC are going through after the investiture of Salvador Illa, who “will have the opportunity to lead this change of cycle, with very important challenges and difficulties”.

“Illa is in the same situation as Pedro Sánchez, although that path remains to be taken. Sánchez has gained time. By extending the legislature, he has once again demonstrated that he is capable of reaching an agreement with anyone to achieve his objective.”

We are facing a new era in Catalonia that begins with a three-way investiture alliance that recalls the tripartite governments, formed between 2003 and 2010 by PSC, ERC and the former ICV-EUiA. An understanding that Illa intends to be long-lasting and go beyond this initial vote, as he stated in his speech, and from which we can expect “realistic policies” and, according to him, “progress”, but in no case revolutions or profound structural changes.

However, this will only be an alliance that will continue if the Socialists are able to fulfil the agreement reached with Comuns and, above all, Esquerra, with new financing as the main objective.
