The renowned Italian motorsports specialist developer, Milestoneand Feld Motor Sportsthey will join forces once again to launch 'Monster Jam Showdown', the next official video game of the franchise that promises to breathe new life into the action-packed automotive event on four wheels.

Developed with Unreal Engine 5, the Milan-based team ensures cutting-edge technology to create realistic environments “like never seen in a Milestone game”, with a multitude of graphic details and a lighting system enhancing new gaming possibilities and a renewed physics system. This will result in a “full experience, capable of offering players all the best of Monster Jam.” In addition to the official competitions, the vehicles can be driven in different environments, where a number of events have been distributed “that will make the fun as big and noisy as the sport itself.”
Specifically, the game will feature a total of 66 official Monster Jam trucks (40 trucks will be included in the base game and 26 through free or premium downloadable content) and more than 140 paints to unlock and apply. With the aim of creating a faithful reproduction of the live events, competition will be held in the three categories of venues: American football fields, baseball stadiums and speed circuits, with rectangular, rhomboidal and oval layouts.
Promises variety and excitement
Additionally, as we anticipated, we will be able to drive these monstrous vehicles in three environments inspired by American nature: the Death Valley desert, the forests and rivers of Colorado, and the mountains of Alaska. From official competitions, such as head-to-head races and freestyle, to specially designed events, a total of 10 different game modes promise a mix of both online and offline arcade experiences, including split screen.
To convey the feeling of mastering these 1,500 horsepower mechanical machines, the title will have arcade gameplay equipped with complete and customizable driving aids. In this way, it seems that everyone will be able to participate in the Monster Jam spirit by performing maneuvers and stunts. At the same time, it promises truthful physics to offer an accessible but rewarding gaming experience. The game will be available in 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, PlayStation and PC.
