The PP communities threaten not to go to the key event for minors

The advance payment took place on August 13. The Minister of Youth and Children, Sira Regosat for the first time since the massive assault in Ceuta on the autonomous communities in the sectoral commission that served to prepare the Sectoral Conference scheduled for next Thursday, August 27.

The result was that three regional governments gave a first plan: Extremadura, Aragón and Castilla y León, the three in which Vox holds the Children’s powers. The rest of the administrations governed by the PP did attend, and they achieved one thing: removing from the agenda of the summit that will take place this week an information and debate point on the care of unaccompanied immigrant minors.

Therefore, and formally, the Children’s meeting that will bring together the Government and communities will only approve a single measure: an extraordinary credit of 25 million for the autonomous city. Even so, the minister intends to address the situation of minors and thus lay the foundations for a hypothetical distribution. “I will try again to get the autonomous communities to collaborate to help the autonomous city and care for children”he warned weeks ago.

But the latest movements of the Executive have not pleased the PP, which is on alert for the possibility that, finally, there will be a distribution of the unaccompanied minors who are in Ceuta among the rest of the territories of the peninsula. To begin with, the popular ones demand to first know the total number of children who remain in the city since the massive assault.

Some solidarity organizations claim that there are about 4,000. The National Police gave a figure of more than 2,000 identifications. Until there is a final and exact count and the files of all the minors have been resolved, the PP rules out taking any other measure.

Hence, the communities in the hands of the popular ones, as confirmed to LA RAZÓN, will study a proposal to the minister in the key appointment on Thursday.

It felt especially bad that, days ago, the Government announced a transfer of 500 girls to the peninsula in collaboration with the Ceuta government. Juan Jesus Vivas He denied that he was working on any plan and repeated that the only priority is to guarantee the return of all those who crossed the border irregularly. Whether they are older or younger.

Although initially the Government, through the Ministers of the Interior and Foreign Affairs, declared that all irregulars would return to where they came from, reality is beginning to turn different. The days go by and the number of illegal foreigners who stayed in Ceuta does not decrease. There are hardly any returns that occur voluntarily. The rest remain either in detention centers, or in the tents that the Government is installing, or, directly, overcrowded.

A chronification of the “chaos” that worries the Ceuta authorities, who have set themselves as never before the objective of expelling all illegals in order to recover the normality truncated since July 30.

If the Government’s roadmap involves distributing minors, the PP anticipates that it will take the lead. For now, the intention of the popular regions – except the three mentioned in which Vox governs – is to attend the meeting with Rego. But every step the Executive takes increases distrust.

The warning is clear: either a solution is sought with Morocco for the return of all immigrants, or there will be a political battle that could begin on Thursday with a plan for Rego.
