This new function aims, according to the company itself, to “help readers find your site through preferred sources in Google Search”. As of today, this configuration is available in both Spanish and other languageswhich turns the search task into a dynamic and simple action for users. In addition, during navigationGoogle also allows readers to indicate which media they prefer thanks to a star icon located within the section.
Once selected, the algorithm will begin to prioritize the news related to the topic of the search and coming from the indicated media and sources. These will appear in a new tab called “From your sources”, where they will appear only publications from previously selected mediamaking it easier for readers to search for information.
How to add La Razón as a preferred source on Google
