Ciencia Puerto Rico opens a call for the next generation of its Semillas de Triunfo program

Science Puerto Rico (CienciaPR), as part of the celebration of its 20th anniversary, invited seventh to ninth grade students from public and private schools, as well as those who receive education at home (“homeschoolers”), to participate in the program Seeds of Triumph 2026-2027.

The call is aimed at residents of Puerto Rico interested in the disciplines STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and in developing their leadership through projects with community impact. The program will be offered in hybrid mode (in-person and virtual), from August to May, and is free of cost..

Semillas de Triunfo offers access to STEM educational workshops focused on scientific experimentation through visits to research laboratories, as well as experiments and workshops on communication, computing, and systems programming. Likewise, it provides mentoring opportunities, in order to develop leadership skills and the support network.
